An Experimental film I made in 2 weeks just for fun. Few days back I saw a commercial with the same Idea, as in giving manual parallax to still photographs which make them looks like live footage, shot with a high speed camera. So I thought to make a montage of my concept arts and clicks. Hope you guys will have fun watching it 🙂

This is the opening cinematic video for the game Smash ‘n’ Survive by Version2Games, India’s first globally released Console title exclusively on PS3. I am really proud to be associated with the game as Creative Director and also directed this video along with VFX, SFX, music editing and final compositing while working there.
This is the opening cinematic video for the game “The Brutal Spy” by Version2Game. We completed the whole video in 2 weeks and it was an awesome experience. I directed it along with VFX, SFX, music editing and final compositing while working there.
I directed this video while working in Version2games for their project ”T.U.M” . I cannot disclose much about the concept as it is the USP of whole project.
This is something really close to my heart, my final project at College. I have many sweet memories of IDC,IIT Bombay connected with this. It was not a group project, we had to do everything on our own, starting from the scratch concept to the final product. I loved every single moment of it. When I started, I didn’t know anything about any software, except Photoshop. In fact, I made a few of the scenes in Flash 😀 , but then I learnt so much in the process. I admit there are many scenes here, taken from known cinematics but I guess that was the best way to learn the power of ‘proper timing’ and ‘composition’ for someone who is doing everything for the first time. I always used to be fascinated by the game cinematics, like how in just few minutes they narrate the gist of a story and have a powerful impact. And while creating my first film, I wanted all these elements in it.
I started with researching Indian Mythology, which was my favorite subject, and choose the character ‘Arjun’ ‘coz of his unique characteristics and his dual personality. I wanted to concentrate more on the composition, timing and storytelling part rather than compressing the huge content in to a few minutes. So instead of trying to narrate his whole story I choose only a part of it, where he loses his son ‘Abhimanyu’ in the battle of Kurukshetra and fights back in rage on 18th day.
I won awards in 3 international and 4 national film festivals. The film was also showcased in Annecy France 2008.
